Use the mouse wheel or the + / − buttons to zoom; clicking the map zooms in 4x right away, and a zoomed map can be dragged. Hover a point to see NPC details (all its points are highlighted); when zoomed in, click a point to open the NPC page in a new tab. "Show levels" puts mob levels right on the map. Mobs standing close together are shown as one point. The overview map shows up to 5 points per mob; all points are on the mob page.
