Trial of the Challenger - quest walkthrough

Talk to Kash and take the quest.

Kash says that anyone who wants to get the mark of challenger should enter the cave behind the Undine Waterfall in the northern part of the Neutral Zone, destroy Shyslassys Quest Monsterlv. 36 and retrieve an old parchment.

Monster to Hunt - The Shyslassys

Optional: after Shyslassys dies, Chest Of Shyslassys appears at her body for a few minutes. Open it with the Broken Key: with a 20% chance it gives recipe materials or patterns, otherwise a small amount of Adena. If you skip the chest, keep the key - Raldo takes it at the end.

You've defeated Shyslassys Quest Monsterlv. 36 and retrieved the parchment. Take it to Kash.

Kash tells you to get the mark of challenger from Martien in Giran Castle Town.

Martien says that he will give you the mark of challenger if you defeat an evil spirit known as Gorr Quest Monsterlv. 36 that haunts the area around Floran Village.

You defeated Gorr Quest Monsterlv. 36 and taken the mark of the watcher's eye. Now return to Martien for the mark of challenger.

Gorr's defeat has not made the people of Floran Village any safer. They're now threatened by another evil creature. Find and destroy Baraham Quest Monsterlv. 36 in the caves near Gorr's lair.

Monster to Hunt - Baraham

Raldo Champion appears where Baraham dies and stays for a short time; if you miss him, kill Baraham again after he respawns.

You've defeated Baraham Quest Monsterlv. 36. Who is this mysterious stranger?

Raldo Champion warns of an evil that will be resurrected unless a magic force field remains protected. Speak with Filaur Gray Pillar Member in the Dwarven Village and ask him where the last magic force field was known to exist.

You must be level 36 or higher; otherwise Filaur sends you away.

There's an evil energy in the deepest part of the Mithril Mines and the magic force field is threatened. Why is there earth wyrm blood everywhere? Could that Succubus Queen Quest Monsterlv. 34 be their leader?

Monster to Hunt - Succubus Queen

In the Mithril Mines, drop to the bottom of the deep round pit, take the tunnel, turn left at the fork and cross the stone bridges to the central platform where the Succubus Queen waits.

At the death of the Succubus Queen Quest Monsterlv. 34, Raldo Champion reappears. Speak with him.
