Trial of the Seeker - quest walkthrough

Talk to Dufner Master and take the quest.

Mutant evil spirits threaten the kingdom. The guild has decided to begin a secret investigation into their activities. Only Seekers can accomplish this task. You must find someone to help you. The letter describes that person.

Terry Master is concerned about the increasing number of mutants in the area and asks you to hunt the Neer Ghoul Berserkerlv. 29 on the Execution Grounds near the village.

Monster to Hunt - Neer Ghoul Berserker

A suspicious stone has been retrieved from the Neer Ghoul Berserkerlv. 29. Take it to Terry Master in the Town of Dion.

After examining the runestone, Terry Master asks you to investigate the mutants while he continues his work.

Hunt Ol Mahum Captainlv. 30 to collect Ol Mahum Runestone.

Only the level 30 Ol Mahum Captainlv. 30 in the Fortress of Resistance drops the runestone; the level 25 Ol Mahum Captains elsewhere do not.

Hunt Turak Bugbear Warriorlv. 33 to collect Turak Bugbear Runestone.

Hunt Turek Orc Warlordlv. 30 to collect Turek Runestone.

You've retrieved the runestones from the mutants. Now return to Terry Master in the Town of Dion.

Terry Master asks you to deliver the runestones to Victor in Hunters Village and advises that you tell him Master Terry's full name if he seems unfamiliar with him. Remember this!

When Viktor asks for Terry's real name, answer Altebar Karryos. If you get it wrong twice, he sends you back to Terry for a new letter (Viktor's Letter - Hawkeye's Letter) before he gives you Viktor's Request.

Victor agrees to investigate if you'll hunt the Medusalv. 34 and bring him 10 of its scales.

Monster to Hunt - Medusa

You've collected 10 scales of Medusalv. 34. Take them to Trader Victor in Hunters Village and ask him about the runestones.

Victor explains that the runestones are associated with Shilen. He asks that you deliver his Analysis Request letter containing his preliminary research results to Marina Magister in the Ivory Tower.

Marina Magister asks you to get an object from Brunon Blacksmith of Dwarven Village while he performs his analysis.

Bruno gives you a very fragile object to deliver to Marina Magister. Be careful with it.

Marina Magister is depressed to find that the analysis confirms her worst fears. Take her results to Terry Master to find out more.

You must be level 36 to continue. At level 35 Terry gives you his 3rd Order instead; reach level 36 and talk to him again.

The analysis shows that runestones are being intentionally implanted into the bodies of monsters. Destroy these monsters and retrieve the runestones.

You've removed the Abyss Runestone from the monsters. Now take them to Terry Master.

Take Terry's Report to Dufner Master in Giran to receive the Mark of Seeker.
