Trial of the Pilgrim - quest walkthrough

Talk to Santiago Hermit and take the quest.

The Trial of the Pilgrim requires that you learn the ways of the gods by visiting various priests. You should visit Tanapi Seer in the land of the Orcs first.

Tanapi Seer tells you that in order to truly understand Pa'agrio, the God of Fire, you must meet Ancestor Martankus within the Cave of Trials!

In the Cave of Trials, jump into the water on the right before the first bridge and follow the right wall to the three-faced stone altar.

If you wish to understand the true nature of Pa'agrio, Martankus says you must recover the Essence of Flame from the Forgotten Temple in Gludin Territory.

Monsters to Hunt - Lava Salamander Quest Monsterlv. 35

The Lava Salamanders are deep in the right (fire) wing of the Forgotten Temple, in a small side room past the raid boss chamber.

You've got the Essence of Flame! Take it to Ancestor Martankus in the Cave of Trials.

The Essence of Flame contains the Soul of Pa'agrio. Should it speak to you, be sure to let Tanapi Seer know of what was said.

You've felt the flame. Now you must learn Maphr's truth. Speak with Gauri Twinklerock in Dwarven Village.

To learn the truth of Maphr, meet with Gerald Priest of the Earth or Dorf Wanderer.

Optional: Gerald does not advance the quest. If you buy his book, you can return it to him later and get the 100,000 Adena back.

Visit Dorf Wanderer.

The Teachings of Maphr. This is like the two sides of a coin. Find Primos Priest in Giran Castle Town to receive the teachings of Einhasad.

If you paid Gerald Priest of the Earth 100000 Adena for the Book of Gerald, you can return the book to him now to get your Adena back.

Primos Priest in Giran Castle Town says that he doesn't have anything to tell you. He tells you to go see Petron Priest on Talking Island.

Petron Priest will teach you and give you your assignment if you'll go to the Elven Ruins and destroy the evil spirit known as Nahir Quest Monsterlv. 35.

Monster to Hunt - Nahir

Nahir is in the far north-east room of the Elven Ruins and may take several kills to drop the hair.

You've killed the evil creature Nahir Quest Monsterlv. 35. Return to Petron Priest on Talking Island.

The truth of Einhasad is that there's as much jealousy and destruction as there is faith and life in this world. Now you must learn the truth of Eva. Speak with Andellia in Elven Village.

You must be level 36 or higher; otherwise Andellia will send you away.

Eva's priest asks you to kill the Black Willow Quest Monsterlv. 30 located at the falls in the Neutral Zone. Then to go meet with Uruha, Priestess of Darkness, to warn her not to bring her evil intentions to the Elven Forest ever again.

You've defeated the Black Willow Quest Monsterlv. 30. Now visit Uruha and warn her not to bring her dastardly evil intentions near the Elven Village ever again.

In pursuit of the teachings of the opposite. You've obtained the Book of Darkness which contains the dark secrets of Shilen! How would Andellia, Eva's child, respond to you now?

Andellia asks whether to burn the book. If you agree, she takes it; if not, Casian takes it in the next step.
