An Arrogant Search - quest walkthrough

Talk to Hanellin Magister and take the quest.

Hanellin Magister asks that you go to The Giant's Cave, defeat a Lesser Giant Elderlv. 65 or a Lesser Giant Magelv. 64 and bring back the Titan's Powerstone.

Hunt Lesser Giant Elderlv. 65, Lesser Giant Magelv. 64 to collect Titan's Powerstone.

You have decided to work alone.

Hanellin gives you three letters: for Harne Magister in the Dark Elf Village, Claudia Athebaldt in Aden and Martien in Giran. Each of them leads you to one of the three sacred arks.

Take Hanellin's 1st Letter to Harne Magister in the Dark Elf Village.

Take Hanellin's 2nd Letter to Claudia Athebaldt in Aden Castle Town.

Take Hanellin's 3rd Letter to Martien in Giran Castle Town.

Claudia Athebalt explains that although she possesses the sacred chest she cannot open it, as it is being guarded by an angel. She requests that you kill the angel. Kill the ark guardian Elberoth.

The sacred ark is locked. While examining the lock you are attacked by the ark guardian Elberoth.

You have defeated Elberoth and retrieved the key to the sacred ark. Open it.

Martien explains that although the sacred ark has been located, it is being guarded by a werewolf wearing armor and cannot be opened. He requests that you destroy the ark guardian Shadowfang located near Tanor Canyon southwest of Giran Castle Town. Monster to hunt: ark guardian Shadowfang.

The sacred ark is locked. As you are examining the lock, Shadowfang suddenly appears in front of you.

You have slain Shadowfang and taken the key to the ark from him. Open it.

Harne Magister asks that you find a sacred ark hidden in the western Misty Mountains.

While examining the corpse of the ark guardian, an angel killer appears and claims that he killed the guardian.

Bring the Angel Killer Quest Monsterlv. 60 below 30% HP: he stops fighting and disappears.

Search the Ark Guardian's Corpse again to find the 1st Key of Ark.

The angel killer tells you about a key hidden on the corpse of the guardian of the ark, and then disappears. Search the corpse for the key and open the sacred ark.

You have obtained all three sacred relics. Go to Hanellin Magister in Aden Castle Town and ask her how to activate the angelic vortex.

You've obtained the three sacred relics and given them to Magister Hanelin. She says she needs time to investigate and asks you to go to a grocery store and buy five Antidote and a Greater Healing Potion for her.

Hanellin Magister asks that you dip the cloths in the blood of a platinum overlord or a platinum shaman.

If you chose "Meet the Emperor", Hanellin pays 12,000 or 24,000 Adena. Hit and kill Platinum Tribe Overlordlv. 71 and Shamans while carrying the White Fabric: each hit and kill adds points, and at 80,000 points the fabric becomes a Blooded Fabric (the pass to Baium) and the quest ends.

Hanellin Magister promises to tell you a secret after you have dipped the cloths in the blood of a platinum overlord or platinum shaman.

If you chose "Make some money", the fabric needs 100,000 points. Then bring the Blooded Fabric to Hanellin: she gives you 9-10 White Fabric.

Hanellin Magister gives you several white cloths and asks that you dip them in the blood of a Seal Angellv. 73 or Guardian Angellv. 72 and bring them back to her.

Each kill has a 25% chance to turn one White Fabric into a Blooded Fabric.

Hanellin Magister asks that you deliver the blood-soaked cloths to Sir Gustav Athebaldt in the Town of Oren, to Hardin in Hardin's Academy and Iason Heine in Heine.

As a reward for successfully completing the delivery, you are given the reward that was promised. Hanellin Magister asks if you would like to continue to work for her.

Hanellin pays 49,000 Adena. If you continue, she gives you 10 more White Fabric.

Hanellin Magister gives you more White Fabric and asks that you kill Seal Angellv. 73 and Guardian Angellv. 72. Deliver 10 blood-soaked cloths and you'll receive another reward.

Hanellin pays 5,000 Adena for each Blooded Fabric.
