Step 1Take the quest
Talk to Wesley Magic Trader and take the quest.
Step 2Preparation of Reagents
You have agreed to obtain the reagent that Wesley Magic Trader needs for his magic research. Slay the evil creatures in the Tower of Insolence and the Blazing Swamp and collect reagent ingredients. Once you collect the ingredients, use the mixing urn in the basement of the Ivory Tower to create reagents. Refer to the note that is attached to the mixing urn for instructions on how to use the urn and for the formulas used to mix the ingredients. In the Tower of Insolence you should hunt Crendion, Hallate's Maid, Hallate's Guardian, Platinum Tribe Shaman and Platinum Guardian Shaman. In the Blazing Swamp hunt Lava Wyrm and Hames Orc Shaman.

Step 3Mixing Reagents
Mix the ingredients in the Alchemist's Mixing Urn following the 
Mixing Manual: choose two ingredients and a temperature (three levels). Wesley Magic Trader trades reagents and products.
Temperature 1 always succeeds and gives 1 reagent; temperature 2 gives 3 with a 45% chance; temperature 3 gives 5 with a 15% chance. A failure loses the ingredients.
