Saga of the Duelist - quest walkthrough

Talk to Sedrick Grand Master and take the quest.

Only the most powerful Gladiators may become Duelists. Speak with the Arena Director of Aden Coliseum.

The Arena Director says he'll tell you anything if you bring him the last dinner, the luxurious meal that the Duelists once ate before battle. To make it, you must meet Donath Master Chef in the Hot Springs area of Goddard.

Donath Master Chef needs Ice Crystal and top-grade meat in order to make the dish he wishes to prepare.

You can find the Ice Crystals by following Chef Jeremy's instructions.

After that, you'll need to steal some meat in the Beast Pastures.

Get the Ice Crystal from the quest "The Finest Ingredients - Part 1" (Jeremy Chef in the Hot Springs) and the Top Quality Meat from the quest "Delicious Top Choice Meat" (Tunatun Beast Herder at the Beast Farm). Donath Master Chef takes them and gives you Multiple Course Meal.

Donath Master Chef uses the ingredients to make you a beautiful meal. Return to the Arena Director at the Coliseum.

You've got the Resonance Amulet. Commune with the Tablet of Vision that is just south of the Tower of Insolence.

The Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge near the Tablet of Vision have the second Resonance Amulet. Destroy them and take their Resonance Amulet.

Monsters to Hunt - Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge

Kill 10 Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge Quest Monsterlv. 76 near Tablet of Vision: the Resonance Amulet - 2 is given on the 10th kill. Only kills made in your current class count.

You've got the Resonance Amulet from the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge. Commune with the Tablet of Vision.

After communing with the second tablet, you sense a fallen Sword Master named Iron. His incredible power proved to be his downfall, and now he's nothing more than an impediment. Read all you can about him and get ready for a vicious battle. He awaits you near the third tablet.

Monster to Hunt - Ancient Sword Master Iron

Talking to Tablet of Vision summons Ancient Sword Master Iron Quest Monsterlv. 76 for you alone: if another player attacks it or casts a skill on it, it disappears. While someone else's fight is in progress, the tablet makes you wait.

You've defeated Ancient Sword Master Iron Quest Monsterlv. 76 and taken the Resonance Amulet. His obsession with victory led him to betray his title of Sword Master.

Commune with the third tablet.

Valdis Grand Magister in the Rune Township library has the fourth Resonance Amulet. Visit him and get it.

To get the Divine Stone of Wisdom, you must gain the trust of the Ketra Orcs. Speak with Wahkan, their messenger.

The Divine Stone of Wisdom comes from the quest "Magical Power of Water - Part 1", which Wahkan Ketra's Messenger gives at level 74 or higher with an alliance with the Ketra Orcs of level 2 or more.

To get the Divine Stone of Wisdom, you decided to help the Varka Silenos. Prove yourself to their messenger, Ashanuk, and gain the trust of the Varka Silenos.

The Divine Stone of Wisdom comes from the quest "Magical Power of Fire - Part 1", which Naran Ashanuk Varka's Messenger gives at level 74 or higher with an alliance with the Varka Silenos of level 2 or more.

Bring the Divine Stone of Wisdom to Valdis Grand Magister to receive Resonance Amulet - 4.

You've got the fourth Resonance Amulet. Go to the fourth tablet and commune with it.

Felix Master of the Town of Goddard has the fifth Resonance Amulet. Visit him and get the Resonance Amulet.

The Archon of Halisha has the fifth Resonance Amulet. Lure the archon out by attacking his minions in the Shrine of Loyalty or attack him inside the Imperial Tomb.

Imperial Tomb: Archon of Halisha

Each kill of these monsters in the Shrine of Loyalty gives a Halisha's Mark (in a party - to a random member who is on this step). When you have 700, the next kill takes 20 marks and summons Archon of Halisha Quest Monsterlv. 76: it attacks you, stays for 10 minutes, and only you can get the amulet from it.

Hunt Archon of Halisha Quest Monsterlv. 76 to collect Resonance Amulet - 5.

An Archon of Halisha killed inside the Four Sepulchers also counts: every party member of this class who is on this step receives Resonance Amulet - 5.

You've got the fifth Resonance Amulet. Now head to the fifth tablet. It is in the northwestern corner of the Wall of Argos.

During the fifth communion, you saw the devil who caused Iron's downfall and gave him eternal life. It was waiting beside the sixth Tablet of Vision. Can you really fight against his power?

Monster to Hunt - Fallen Angel Metellus

Talking to Tablet of Vision summons Kain Van Halter and Fallen Angel Metellus Quest Monsterlv. 81, who attacks the defender. Hit Fallen Angel Metellus Quest Monsterlv. 81 16 times within about a minute: it then retreats. Talk to Kain Van Halter to receive Resonance Amulet - 6.

After killing Fallen Angel Metellus Quest Monsterlv. 81, Kain Van Halter disappeared, leaving behind a Resonance Amulet. Use it to perform the sixth communion.

The life of a Gladiator is always full of risks. Duelists always know what is worth risking. Meet Grand Master Cedric in Aden Castle Town and talk about what you've gained and lost during the pilgrimage.

At level 76 or higher Sedrick Grand Master gives the reward and changes your class right away; otherwise come back after reaching level 76.

You aren't skilled enough to actually do the things you've learned on your pilgrimage. Don't return to Grand Master Cedric until you reach level 76.
