Saga of the Hell Knight - quest walkthrough

Talk to Mordred Dark Knight and take the quest.

Mordred Dark Knight orders you to investigate a Dark Avenger called Waldstein. Lately, Waldstein appears near the Tablet of Vision and is probably up to no good. First, visit Bayard Guard of the Town of Goddard. He'll tell you what to do next.

Bayard Guard tells you to go to Bavarin Information Broker in the Hot Springs area and get the report of the investigation he requested earlier.

Bavarin Information Broker says he has the report of the investigation, but won't give it away for free. He wants Ice Crystal from the Hot Springs area in return. Get the Ice Crystals and return to Bavarin.

Get the Ice Crystal from the quest "The Finest Ingredients - Part 1" (Jeremy Chef in the Hot Springs). Bavarin Information Broker takes it and gives you Investigative Report.

You've got the report of the investigation from Bavarin Information Broker. Return to Bayard Guard.

Bayard Guard says you can track down Waldstein if you follow him on his pilgrimage of the Tablets of Vision.

You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

This Tablet of Vision had no sign of Waldstein.

You feel that one of the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge near the next Tablet of Vision has the Resonance Amulet. Kill the guardian and get the Resonance Amulet.

Kill 10 Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge Quest Monsterlv. 76 near Tablet of Vision: the Resonance Amulet - 2 is given on the 10th kill. Only kills made in your current class count.

You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

This Tablet of Vision also had no sign of Waldstein.

You feel that someone suspicious near the next Tablet of Vision has the Resonance Amulet. You should already know where it is.

Talking to Tablet of Vision summons Archangel Iconoclasis Quest Monsterlv. 76 for you alone: if another player attacks it or casts a skill on it, it disappears. While someone else's fight is in progress, the tablet makes you wait.

Now you're sure that Waldstein is on the pilgrimage of the Tablets of Vision!

You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

You feel that Bayard Guard of the Town of Goddard has the Resonance Amulet. Go meet Guard Bayard.

Go to the Ketra Orcs and get their Divine Stone of Wisdom. They know it has great power, but have no idea how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it to the smartest person in their tribe! Gain the trust of their messenger, Wahkan and prove yourself to him. He'll give you their sacred stone.

Or, if you prefer, you can get the stone from the Varka Silenos by gaining the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk.

The Divine Stone of Wisdom comes from the quest "Magical Power of Water - Part 1", which Wahkan Ketra's Messenger gives at level 74 or higher with an alliance with the Ketra Orcs of level 2 or more.

Go to the Varka Silenos village and obtain the Divine Stone of Wisdom. They know it has great power, but have no idea how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it to the smartest person in their tribe! Gain the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk and he'll give you their stone.

Or, if you prefer, you can get the stone from the Ketra Orcs by earning the trust of their messenger, Wahkan.

The Divine Stone of Wisdom comes from the quest "Magical Power of Fire - Part 1", which Naran Ashanuk Varka's Messenger gives at level 74 or higher with an alliance with the Varka Silenos of level 2 or more.

Bring the Divine Stone of Wisdom to Bayard Guard to receive Resonance Amulet - 4.

Waldstein has already left this Tablet of Vision.

You feel that Bayard Guard of the Town of Goddard has the Resonance Amulet. Go meet Guard Bayard.

A monster known as the Archon of Halisha has the next Resonance Amulet. The archon can be found inside the Four Sepulchers, but you mustn't enter there alone!

If you prefer to confront the archon alone, attack his minions in the Shrine of Loyalty. After you've collected 700 marks of Halisha, the archon himself will appear.

Each kill of these monsters in the Shrine of Loyalty gives a Halisha's Mark (in a party - to a random member who is on this step). When you have 700, the next kill takes 20 marks and summons Archon of Halisha Quest Monsterlv. 76: it attacks you, stays for 10 minutes, and only you can get the amulet from it.

Hunt Archon of Halisha Quest Monsterlv. 76 to collect Resonance Amulet - 5.

An Archon of Halisha killed inside the Four Sepulchers also counts: every party member of this class who is on this step receives Resonance Amulet - 5.

You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

Waldstein has already left this Tablet of Vision, too.

You feel that someone suspicious near the next Tablet of Vision has the Resonance Amulet. You should already know where it is.

Talking to Tablet of Vision summons Disgraced Knight Waldstein and Death Lord Hallate Quest Monsterlv. 81, who attacks the defender. Hit Death Lord Hallate Quest Monsterlv. 81 16 times within about a minute: it then retreats. Talk to Disgraced Knight Waldstein to receive Resonance Amulet - 6.

You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision from Waldstein. You should already know where it is.

You've heard Waldstein's story and finished communing with all the Tablets of Vision. Return to Mordred Dark Knight.

At level 76 or higher Mordred Dark Knight gives the reward and changes your class right away; otherwise come back after reaching level 76.

Get more training before you return to Mordred Dark Knight.

(Only characters of level 76 or above may change their occupation to Hell Knight. Don't abandon the quest until occupation change is complete.)
